About us:

California Sierra Keeshond Club was founded in 2003. Our members include all levels of Keeshond expertise, and we work to educate people about our breed and bring new people into the sport of dog shows. We try to help our members increase their knowledge of the breed and their ring skills, while providing a supportive and friendly community. In May 2008, CSKC successfully hosted the Keeshond Club of America National Specialty, a major undertaking for any club. CSKC received AKC Sanctioned status in 2011, and continues to work toward full Accreditation.

Our club is now a member of the Sacramento Council of Dog Clubs, a coalition of AKC breed, all-breed, and training clubs which provides public contact and education, and works on issues affecting the dog fancy. We've already participated in our first SCDC event, and are happy to be a part of this group.
